Every patient who consults with us and goes on to start treatment gets a complimentary iTero scan each year. It’s a handheld digital scanner — no impression trays, no goop, and no radiation. In a few minutes, we can create a 3D model of your teeth that shows exactly how your bite works.
We keep every scan, so we can set this year’s beside last year’s and show you exactly what’s changed. It’s the clearest way to track progress, for a child or for yourself.
X-rays and panoramic images are still taken when clinically needed. The scan doesn’t replace them — it just doesn’t require any radiation of its own, for those who are simply looking to see if orthodontic treatment is right for them.
